Endless blame shifting, this is what we are good at. But the greater problem is not the problem WITHOUT – the people and the circumstances; the greater problem is the problem WITHIN, the heart.
This is what James would like to draw our attention to. He helps us see that when we put the blame on our circumstance, that is not a manifestation of a genuine faith. In fact when we do blame shifting instead of owning the responsibility over our sin as a result of giving into temptation, we blame it on God.
